Project Details:

Originally hired by Kasson-Mantorville Public Schools stemmed into long-range capital improvement planning for the City of Kasson, which included facility assessments, listening sessions, community engagement, and more. Two projects were identified from this process – one of them being a new fire station. The project includes demolishing the existing fire station located at 101 Main Street, which has reached the end of its useful life, and building a new facility on the same site.

The modern building will include a community education room, training areas for firefighters, a joint training community room, and a call dispatch center. This facility will be adding a police station to the north and utilizing the second level for a new city hall. This project will play a vital role in improving the community’s response time, making Kasson a safer place to live and work. We are thrilled to be bringing this project to fruition and hope that it will represent a significant step forward for Kasson’s community.
