ICS Holiday Parties

Traditionally separated after the craziness of the holiday season, our Minneapolis team enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon at Flannel Jax’s St. Paul, where adrenaline and camaraderie flowed freely. Divided into teams, we cheered each other on in a spirit of friendly competition, revealing the joy of hitting bullseyes and sharing laughter in moments of epic misses.

Our Pennsylvania office and CMTA also enjoyed an exhilarating outing of axe-throwing at Bury The Hatchet!  The axe-throwing adventure proved to be a fantastic team-building activity, strengthening camaraderie and fostering a sense of unity among the participants.

Meanwhile, our Park Rapids office had an equally delightful time! With glasses clinking and laughter echoing throughout the venue, colleagues bonded over shared experiences and celebrated their achievements in a relaxed and festive environment.

Cheers to many more celebrations, laughter, and shared adventures!

Promotions

We’re thrilled to announce the well-deserved promotions of Business Development Director Jason Splett, Project Development Director Chris Ziemer, Project Executive Justin Maaninga, Project Executive Ekalath Sophaphanh, Senior Project Manager Collin Rehbein, Project Manager Mark Cobb, and Project Manager Austin May. As they enter their new roles, we look forward to witnessing their continued growth and contributions to the ICS team. Congratulations to all on this significant achievement!

Chili Cook-Off

The scent of simmering spices filled the air as our 5th annual chili cook-off commenced at our Minneapolis office. With 11 contestants devoted to winning, anticipation ran high as each participant showcased their unique twist to the classic dish. To determine the winners, ICS employees voted for their favorites out of these four categories – Most Traditional, Most Flavor, Most Creative, and Best Overall – there was something different in every cup. While only a few could claim victory, the true winner was the sense of community throughout the office, leaving everyone eager to participate in next year’s chili cook-off!

Winners

Most Flavor: Jill Kaliher from ICS

Most Creative: Brent Wavra from CMTA

Most Traditional: Chase Kielmeyer from ICS

ICS Presentation

The Itasca Area School Cooperative opened its doors to students in vocational technology classes at the newly renovated City of Grand Rapids Yanmar Arena, offering a firsthand glimpse into the diverse career opportunities of the AEC industry. Along with local contractors, ICS team members Nathan Norton and Chris Johnson provided invaluable insight into construction trades and project management careers. Students engaged in discussions, which helped them gain a deeper understanding of the skills and expertise required in the industry. ICS is always excited about the opportunity to help guide aspiring minds as they embark on their future career pathways!
