Osseo Area Schools | Building a Better Future

Osseo Area Schools Project Details:

ICS is proud to partner with Osseo Area Schools to provide comprehensive planning, project development, and owner’s representation services for their Building a Better Future initiative — district-wide facility improvements funded through a combination of a $222 million voter-approved building bond referendum in November 2023 and approximately $150 million in Long-Term Facilities Maintenance (LTFM) dollars.

These improvements will enhance learning environments across all district facilities, improve safety and security, expand and modernize various spaces, create additional educational spaces, and more. These improvements will benefit every school and student in the district, ensuring safer, more dynamic, and future-ready learning environments.

With a $375 million investment in Osseo Area Schools, ICS is committed to shaping a brighter future for students, staff, and the broader community. Key improvements include:

  • Complete safety and security upgrades across all facilities, including dedicated secured entrances at Maple Grove Senior High School, Osseo Senior High School, and Park Center Senior High School.
  • Expand and modernize Career and Technical Education (CTE) spaces at the Osseo Area Learning Center, Maple Grove Senior High School, Osseo Senior High School, and Park Center Senior High School.
  • Expand and modernize science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) spaces at the district’s magnet schools to foster hands-on learning and innovation.
  • Update classroom furniture across all schools to accommodate varied learning needs, including Special Education, gifted/talented, and multilingual learners.
  • Modernize library and media centers, including flexible learning spaces and updated technology to support individualized learning.
  • Add outdoor classrooms at their elementary schools to expand hands-on educational experiences.
