St. Olaf College Hilleboe and Kittelsby Hall

St. Olaf College Hilleboe and Kittelsby Hall Project Details:

On any college campus, residence halls play a critical role in building community. As part of a 2018 housing study, St. Olaf College identified the need for improved living spaces while addressing overcrowding. The first step in the process was completing the Ole Avenue project in 2022, a new 300-bed residence hall and 14-townhome project that transformed campus life for the Oles. The second step in improving campus life was significant renovations to Hilleboe/Kittelsby Hall, one of the largest dorms on campus.

ICS provided owner’s representation services for various renovations to the 247-bed residence hall, including updated finishes such as furniture, fixtures, and flooring, remodeled, expanded, and ADA-compliant bathrooms, remodeled corridors and communal lounges, new interior and exterior windows and doors, expanded and renovated laundry rooms, LED lighting upgrades, and overall building system upgrades to improve efficiency and functionality.

St. Olaf College will continue making campus-wide housing improvements over the next several years, which will enrich overall student experience for decades to come. ICS is proud to have been part of both the Ole Avenue Project and the improvements to Hilleboe and Kittelsby Hall.
