Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools: Pleasantview Elementary

Project Details:

More than ten months of community engagement and evaluation through listening sessions, surveys, and conversations resulted in a community-driven plan for Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools. Over 12,000 surveys were mailed to district residents and over 24 listening sessions took place before a plan was brought before voters. The biggest need was to address their aging Pleasantview Elementary. After 50 years of use, the original building required critical improvements and lacked a modern design to teach students today.

On November 5, 2019, local residents said “yes” to investing $37.1 million to replace Pleasantview Elementary School with a new facility on the current site. Our team is proud to be a part of this exciting new facility for ISD 47. Click here to view additional updates from the district.
