Internal Events
The past few months have been full of memorable moments for our ICS team. We kicked off summer in June with our annual training and fishing trip on Lake Mille Lacs, building skills and reeling in impressive catches. In August, we enjoyed a sunny day at the Saint Paul Saints game and had a tee-rific time at the Greg Coleman Celebrity Golf Tournament, supporting youth programs and connecting with community leaders.
September brought our annual ICS Company Picnic and Gold Medal Games, plus the Mulcahy Open charity fundraiser. Just before Thanksgiving, we wrapped up a successful food drive for the Minneapolis Senior Food Shelf, collecting 940 items and ending with a pie-to-the-face finale for Andy Faulkner. Our implementation team celebrated another strong construction season with sporting clays and pheasant hunting.
At ICS, we’re more than colleagues, we’re a community. Here’s to more fun, connection, and impact.

Ribbon Cuttings & Grand Opening Ceremonies
This summer, we had the privilege of joining several clients to celebrate new and improved facilities that support learning, wellness, and community engagement. Each project reflects thoughtful planning, collaboration, and a shared commitment to improving spaces where people live, work, and connect.
Nashwauk-Keewatin Public Schools
On August 20, 2025, Nashwauk-Keewatin Public Schools hosted a community celebration to mark the opening of their new PreK–12 school and community wellness center. The milestone occasion featured from district administrators, community leaders, project partners, and a special address by Governor Tim Walz. This new state-of-the-art facility marks an investment in the future of students and communities across the Iron Range.
Litchfield Area Recreation Center (LARC)
The Litchfield community gathered to celebrate the grand opening of the new Litchfield Area Recreation Center on September 7, 2025. The new facility now serves as the hub for wellness and connection in the Litchfield area, offering versatile spaces for activities and events that will benefit the community for years to come.
On September 24, 2025, Mahnomen Public Schools celebrated the grand opening of their additions and renovations with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by staff, students, and community members. The event marked a proud moment for the district and community, highlighting the teamwork and vision that made the project possible and showcasing the innovative, future-ready learning spaces that will support students now and into the future.
As the finale to homecoming week, Park Rapids Area Schools hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on September 26, 2025, marking the completion of PRoject 309. Students, staff, and community members gathered to commemorate this milestone and celebrate the new spaces, designed to be safer, more accessible, and provide more opportunities for learning, collaboration, and growth.
Each ribbon cutting signifies more than just the completion of a building, but the collaborative effort behind it. We are proud to be a part of these projects that inspire learning, connection, and collaboration for all who use them.
Another Strong Year of Construction
As we come to the end of 2025, we want to give a big shout-out to our implementation team for their hard work and dedication. Thanks to their efforts, we’ve successfully delivered projects all year long—and we’re proud of the many that have been completed in the past few months. From our project managers and site superintendents to our project coordinators, project directors, and engineers, thank you for what you do and the impact you make on the communities we work in!
We also had another strong summer of construction, including 44 active projects totaling approximately $250 million. Most importantly, every summer project was opened safely, on schedule, and within budget. This is a true reflection of our team’s commitment to planning, fiscal responsibility, and delivering results.

Referendum Update
Between building bonds, capital projects, and operating levies, 79 Minnesota school districts posed 96 questions to local voters on Tuesday, November 4.
Our team celebrated the success of five building bond referendum questions and two operating levy questions that evening – Badger Community School’s building bond and operating levy approval, Cook County School District’s building bond, GHEC Public Schools’ building bond and operating levy approval, and Walker Hackensack Akeley Public Schools’ two-question building bond referendum. Our team has helped pass over $2.9 billion in voter-approved referendums across Minnesota in the last 14 years. Wherever you are in the planning process, our team is ready to help you implement changes in your district–just like Cook County, Badger, GHEC, and Walker Hackensack Akeley.
