2021 ICS Construction Wrap-Up

It’s a wrap! Looking back at 2021, our team is extremely proud of how we delivered construction projects throughout the year.

  • 66 active construction projects
  • Managed $485,000,000 in construction
  • 56 field personnel including project managers and superintendents
  • Five project coordinators and seven technical services team members
  • Worked with 811 contractors

Some of our project highlights include:

Saint Croix River Education District (SCRED) Vision Program

The Vision Program is a federal setting IV special education program is for students in grades K-12 with intense social, emotional, or behavioral needs.

The Saint Croix River Education District (SCRED) operates the Vision program which is a shared program between Pine City, East Central and Hinckley-Finlayson School districts. The Vision program offers smaller class sizes; a higher student-to-staff ratio and it uses empirically validated research in teaching both academics and social skills. The overall goal is to teach students the skills they are lacking and to facilitate the return to their regular mainstream school. With an estimated project cost of $4 million, these districts came together to purchase and renovate the former Chris’ Food Center building in Pine City, MN. The new facility will provide a healthy learning environment and the tools these students need to be successful.
